SIMPUTER

Three of Encore's core team were founding members of the Simputer Trust and co-inventors of the original Simputer™. Encore, as also one of the manufacturing licencees, has made significant enhances to the original platform.

 

The Simputer family of products caters to a broad range of mobile computing applications that require the high mobility of a PDA with advanced features such as a Smart-card reader/writer. The embedded appliance is a PDA form-factor device built around modular hardware architecture and an open-source software architecture that provides easy extensibility and customizability for target applications.
